Early photos of the boy's big day! I had to share, we love these special crowns we found at Baby's R' Us. I also included some photos of Grandpa Langston's special decorations outside, even the oak tree was wrapped in blue!

Another wonderful surprise, Grandma Hanna came down to join us! We were lucky to find a last minute flight from Portland to LAX. We are so blessed to have her with us!

I am on the way to pick up the boys' birthday cakes.

What is Cerebral Palsy?

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a term used to describe a problem with movement and posture that makes certain activities difficult. Even though someone who has cerebral palsy has problems moving his or her muscles, this is not because there is something wrong with the muscles or nerves. These difficulties are caused because of problems in the brain. The child might have had an injury to the brain, or had a brain that did not develop properly. These problems can affect the way the brain controls movement and posture.

At this time in my life illustrations of the Savior with children are so dear to my heart. When I've thought of Christ and Heavenly Father the past few months I have often thought of them cradling my sweet babies and whispering words of comfort. We will perhaps never understand why these valiant spirits where sent down to such fragile bodies at such a premature time but we do know that God has held them close in his loving embrace over these difficult months.
