Just a shout out to our great friends Brooke and Blaine. They brought their daughter Allie to celebrate in the boy's birthday tonight. We have been through a lot together, including IVF to have our babies so it is only appropriate that they be with us during this special day. I loved the photos of Allie and Noah getting to "know" each other. How special to watch them growing! Thanks Brooke and Blaine for your friendship!

What is Cerebral Palsy?

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a term used to describe a problem with movement and posture that makes certain activities difficult. Even though someone who has cerebral palsy has problems moving his or her muscles, this is not because there is something wrong with the muscles or nerves. These difficulties are caused because of problems in the brain. The child might have had an injury to the brain, or had a brain that did not develop properly. These problems can affect the way the brain controls movement and posture.

At this time in my life illustrations of the Savior with children are so dear to my heart. When I've thought of Christ and Heavenly Father the past few months I have often thought of them cradling my sweet babies and whispering words of comfort. We will perhaps never understand why these valiant spirits where sent down to such fragile bodies at such a premature time but we do know that God has held them close in his loving embrace over these difficult months.
