HHH said...: I just read a lot of your blog. I found it off of another I use to read. We have a lot in common. I had 25 weeks twins, and went through some of the same things as your family. Your family is very beautiful, and i admire your strength. My twins are soon to be 4, and my boy still wears oxygen at night, and my little girl is legally blind. But, we are both blessed just to have our children with us. Its been a long battle that I wouldnt wish upon anyone but also so worth it at the same time...Good Luck in the years to come and I will continue to check in on your blog...I havent updated mine in over a year...; December 31, 2008 at 1:38 PM

What is Cerebral Palsy?

Cerebral palsy (CP) is a term used to describe a problem with movement and posture that makes certain activities difficult. Even though someone who has cerebral palsy has problems moving his or her muscles, this is not because there is something wrong with the muscles or nerves. These difficulties are caused because of problems in the brain. The child might have had an injury to the brain, or had a brain that did not develop properly. These problems can affect the way the brain controls movement and posture.

At this time in my life illustrations of the Savior with children are so dear to my heart. When I've thought of Christ and Heavenly Father the past few months I have often thought of them cradling my sweet babies and whispering words of comfort. We will perhaps never understand why these valiant spirits where sent down to such fragile bodies at such a premature time but we do know that God has held them close in his loving embrace over these difficult months.
